watercooling loop question

if i watercool a cpu and 2 gpus, is it better to have 2 loops? if so, for two loops do i need 2 of everything (ie: 2 pumps, 2 rads etc)?

having 2 loops seems to be rather expensive, not sure my wallet is stretchy enough...

What components are you going to be water cooling (i.e the CPU and GPU's).

at the moment, q9450 and a geforce 6800, but i will be getting 2 gtx280s
