Ok, so I think i've decided; watercooling seems to be the ONLY route left to take, and it NEEDS taking.

I managed to get my 4000+ to 2.77GHz today but only after the temp going into the low 50's and the voltage uo to 1.6Vcore, I tried my darn hardest to get it to 2.8GHz but it would just NOT GO, the temps went up, the Vcore needed pushing to 1.65 to even get close to SuperPi stable. (2.76Ghz SuperPi stable..)

So, what I am asking is will watercooling improve this OC? Will I be able to at least turn down the Vcore and keep the same OC?

Secondly, I am thinking of getting the Apex "ultra" watercooling kit and I have been having nightmares of me buying the Coolermaster Stacker 810 (which i will be buying) and the watercooling rig, and me not being able to mount the huuuuge radiator anywhere without punching holes through the beautifull case

So I was wondering if it would be possible to use the two top 120's or the rear 120's or even the front of the case with two 120's to mount the thing? And if anyone has a pic of this kind of setup it would be greatly recieved as im a little nervous... Water has always scared me.. :D

No it's a 90nm San Diego so stock V of 1.36 or something.. Why?

And also can the rad be put in the front drive bays with a) drilling any holes and b) taking up too much space for 2xDVDs 4x HDDs and 1x Floppy

The other alternative is to mount the rad on the bottom, with cool air drawn in from underneath, does the standard stacker has feet?

I have no idea, ain't got it yet ;) The other option I was thinking of was mounting the rad on top.. drawing air out (I know... not so good for temps), but also the rad likes to be upright doesn't it?? :(
