Watercooling or not...

TBH I wouldn't recommend the Swiftech Compact. I don't think you'd see much of a difference over your Tuniq Tower.

The pump is weak, the radiator is too small. If you want to watercool do it correctly. You can do it on a budget with used parts.

Overclockers sell 3 Swiftech kits - the Compact at £80-ish, the Apex Ultra at £200-ish and the Apex Ultra+ at £250-ish.

The Compact and the Apex Ultra do the same job - they only cool the CPU. Why do you think Swiftech can charge £200 for the Apex Ultra? Because it works properly.

The £80 compact can't outperform £35 air coolers and it's more noisy than £35 air coolers, so they're not selling, so they're on special. QED.

As Gurusan says, get onto Member's Market as the Swiftech kits go for £100-ish on there pretty much complete.

If you're going to watercool effectively, you have to get decent parts, the cheaper kits are normally only a disappointment. The more expensive kits can perform well, but normally work out more expensive than buying the parts individually. If you're serious about getting it watercooled you should do some research and buy parts especially for your system

I would agree with WJA96 here, the main problem of the Swiftech Compact is the Apogee Drive, they should have built the pump into the Reservoir/Radiator combo, as the vibration on the processor socket is what causes most noise.
