just about to water cool my second pc but want to know the best order for the bits to go in.
Ive got
- cpu block
- gpu block with 172w pelt
- Pump
- Single fan rad in the roof of the case
- T line with fill port

Ive done watercooling before but dont know whether i used the correct order of things.

Thanks

I think a 120.1 rad is going to struggle with a CPU, GPU and pelt on it. I'd really recommend a separate loops for the graphics card and pelt.

Lol yea i know its gonna be a bit of an experiment. But ive got a decent pump (aquaextreme 50z) so the fast flow should mean the water doesnt heat up too much too quickly. Also ive got a panaflow m1 on the rad.

Got to agree with Kesnel here. A 120.1 (or any rad with only a single 120mm fan) is going to struggle. Have you calculated the heat outputs? You don't specify the cpu or gpu but the 172W pelt alone is going to put out some serious heat so that needs to go after the cpu but other than that the order really isn't important although I always like to put the T just before the pump. Go for ease of routing as that least restricts the flow rate but I would really think about getting a much bigger radiator.

Ok im looking at pump-->rad-->cpu-->gpu-->tline-->pump.

The cpu is an opty 144 at about 3ghz and the 172pelt will run off the main psu so only 120w @12v.

will do mate, should be up and running in the next week or two. Ill be running the 172w pelt off the 600w enermax running the rest of the system so it will run at 120w@12v. Should be looking at -15C or -10C idle on the gfx. :D It will be going on a x850xt or something very similar. Not decided yet :p

With my setup it will come on when the rest of the pc comes on because it just plugs in with a molex. Not sure on the meanwell psu you were considering.
