Hi,

Just set up a watercooling system. It's only a 120.3 Thermochill, EK CPU block and a single 5.25 bay resevoir pump (XPSC). I'm using 1/4 to 1/2 barbs and this is my first attempt. I just can't get through the bleeding process. Is my pump too week for this setup or am I doing it wrong? What is the proper way to bleed? The direction is Reservoir/Pump>Radiator>GPU>Reservoir\pump. Any help gratefully accepted!

Cheers,

Blue

ah, I didn't read your post properly. I wouldn't say it was too weak, just not optimal. And it wouldn't make a difference to bleeding.

Have you tried shiggling your er...tubing or tilting your case to get some air out? How long have u tried bleeding the rig for? have u tried start stopping the pump to get air out?

Well, I'm not too sure about the process. Do I leave the pump/reservoir open, what do I do with the bleed screw on the radiator? I've tried looking for stuff on the net, but it doesn't say too much. Basically what seems to happen is I get an expanding air bubble coming from the output valve (From the reservoir/pump to the rad)

you use a screw driver while the pump is running and take the screw out slowly and when fluid comes out put it back in quick and it will clear the lock :)

the bleed screw on the rad does the same as a res. If its at the top, open it to let air out. Add more water through the res.
