Hello all,

I've dug my old rig out of the cupboard for the first time in about 2 years or so.

Now the spec is as follows.

Coolermaster cm201 Black Widow case
P4 3.4ghz 'Northwood'
Abit IC7 MAX3
ATI Radeon 9800pro
And a spare gig of RAM I've got lying around.

Also, it's got an EXOS External watercooling system, which is almost as old as the rig (about 4 years)

Now I'm going to power the watercooling seperately first to get liquid flowing and to make sure it works....however, I'm looking in the reservoir tank now and its...slightly brown....however I can still see the original blue coolant in there.

I'll post a piccy in a sec.

Should I put anything in the tank to wash through the system? I was going to add water to top everything up.

Thanks all,
Jake

I'd definitely drain it, and think hard about flushing it with vinegar a couple of times. Then add some new distilled water with some PT Nuke.
