I have a fairly small case; and im hoping to mount a 120.3 Rad above it.
It'll be a little unusual in that rather than drawing air out of the case, I want them suspended ~2cm from the top; and use the slightly cooler external air.
I reckon this could be done well by using slim bolts, with Perspex Tube Standoffs to mount the fans 2cm from the top of the case; and would look reasonable too.
What im working on now; is how to mount the rad & airspace above; the fans would then push the air through the rad & up away from the case.
So; are there any pre-fabbed standoffs/shrouds for such things? I've had a quick look but cant see any.
Also; i understand I should be pulling air through the rad; but does it really make that much difference?
Im hoping to get a friend who works in a schools D&T Department to create me a clear perspex box; which I can then mount to the top of the fans, my current unknown is how do I mount the rad to the top of this. Obviously it can be attached with self-tapping screws; but i'd rather use bolts so that the assembly can be fairly easily taken apart.
I wondered about using perspex tubing as a stand-off again, but im not sure if its possible to get the bolts into the radiator? So thats basically what Im asking; can i get sensible bolts in there or is it self tapping stuff only?
Oh, and if you've got any similar sort of setup I'd really appreciate pics/advice.

. The choice of radiator was purely because it uses standard M3 thread mounts; which means Im sure I can set it up correctly. There are eve pre-fabbed standoffs; which I cant link due to competition
