Watercooling ;S

Had a few powercuts recently going on and off for like an hour in 5 minute intervals, and I think its messed up my watercooling, I did turn it off at the PSU but I don't think it really effected it, still messed it up. My temp @ idle is around 27 to 28 Celsius @ 100 load its around 40 Celsius, but really not sure as I don't know how to test that (just started up a game and minimized ^^). Anyway any ideas of what has gone wrong or how to see what has gone wrong?

Just water cooling my CPU which is a Q6600

Edit: Think it used to be around 15-18 Celsius @ idle, also the first time I started it up it said "Overclocking has stopped" or something similar, because it was overclocking to Q6600

P.S I know absolutely nothing about watercooling

Temps look fine, are you getting other problems.

To fully check load temps run Prime or Intel Burn Test.

OK downloaded Prime95, tried that don't understand it so need to know what to do, currently doing Intel Burn Test as we speak

Right, load up Prime95 and click Blend test.

Let it run.

That's all you do, it will use full load on your PC and will find any errors you have.

Ok was doing the blend test, then I got blue screen and my PC restarted :O, I pressed F1 when the PC was starting and it bleeped for like 3 seconds and it said "CPU Fan Error!" so I guess I got a problem with my CPU fan?

Ah ok, Can you check the radiator can you see the fan turning, do you what system you have?

Or can you post some pics of the setup.

I'll get a pic for you mate, currently can't open the case as I have not received the key yet. The fans on the front of my Kandalf LCS seem to be running as I put my hand in front of them and can feel the air.

Just uploading pics will edit once done

CPU fan error is the bios telling you that you have no fan attached to the motherboard CPU header ( which if you are watercooling then its irrelevant ).

Its not an error, just ignore it ( you can probably turn it off in the bios screen somewhere ).

Oh right didn't know ;P, thats one problem out the way thanks mate, but what can explain the CPU returning to stock speed? and the temps are higher then they used to be :O

Strangely enough you have a fan connected to the cpu header on the motherboard looking at the pics.
Looking at the net the rad is dual version which uses 2 fans, unless one of these is connected to the header on the motherboard and failed.

Aslong as all the fans are spinning and the pump is working then you are fine.

If the pump had stopped you would notice the temps just getting higher and higher , untill it shut itself down to prevent damage.

If the temps are steady and constant, then fine.

TBH, i doubt you would have had ' 15-18 Celsius @ idle.' unless it was a very cold room.

Oh , don't know what the CPU header is lol ;P

Its usually at the top of the mobo, with 4 pins.

Looks like a normal 3 pin that you would attach a fan to .

Edit - Just noticed the pictures !

In your first picture >

Above the Thermaltake water block >

To the right of the copper heatsink

White plastic thing that you've attached something to ( red and black wires )

Alrite thanks a lot both of you, appriciate the help, when I first looked it was @ 19C or something around that, just checked again and my temps are 30-33 =]
