Hey guys, I'm currently running a closed loop that I've had for about 4 years. The pump is a Fluval 4 plus that sits in a 6 litre res that I made from a bit of pipe I bought from B&Q, the radiator is a heatercore I got from the bay, my CPU block is a Dtek White water and the GPU block is a DD Tyee. All in all it works really well but having the radiator and the pump/res outside of the case is starting to annoy me and I'm looking to internalise the whole loop into my case (a Lian-Li PC-65).
I've been having a look around for a new pump and I like the look of the Laing DDC- 1 3.2 Ultra 18watt Pump with the XSPC Laing DDC Top, i'd have liked to have gone for the one with the res on it, but I can't see my fitting that in the case in a place that doesnt look silly as such I'll probably just use a T-line.
For the new radiator I was initially just going to plump for the Thermochill PA 120.3 but then I noticed I can get an XSPC RS360 for half the price, is there a big difference between the two? I'm not so keen on paying double the price for a rad that only gives me a couple of degrees lower temps. I intend to just hang this off the back of the case
I'm quite keen on keeping the White Water, I've not had any temp problems so far but then again I've not pushed my CPU very much. The FuZion V2 is an option since it has the advantage of only having the one outlet rather than the 2 on the WW, but otherwise im pretty happy with what I've got.
I intend on getting a 4870x2 so i'll need a new block for that, I'm looking for a full cover block and see that DD and EK have ones out, I'll probably plump for whatever one I can get a hold of the easiest.
