Hola, interested in watercooling my delidded 3570K, not fussed about watercooling my 7970 at the moment because I installed an Accelero on it a month or so ago and the temps are amazing for an air cooler, also silent. If I could cool the GPU in the budget I guess I would like to.

I would say max £200 for now.

I have removed the hard drive cages from my case, so fitting 2x280mm rads shouldn't be a problem. I have a fan controller up front that I like so a bay res isn't going to happen. A tube res and pump combo seems better to me anyway.

This is my rig, the 200mm top fan has gone and has 2xAF140's there. Got quite a lot of room really, in the future I would probably like to add another rad in the front and cool the GPU.

I guess I would like white tubing, as won't get discoloured? UV/blue fluid for the res would be nice. Will be adding white lighting to the build when Fractal finally ship out their side windows.

"Support for dual 120mm radiator in top, even thicker radiators up to 60mm in thickness" I don't see why they don't list 280mm rads, maybe because it's not as common or because it actually won't fit lol. TBH there is loads of room between my fans and the motherboard heatsinks. Will have to check it.

No one? :p Is there much difference between a 240 and a 280 setup?

I would have thought 120mm fans have more pressure anyway. I want silent watercooling not interested in super low temps, but would like better temps than my air setup.

Putting a 280mm rad instead of a 240mm one will mean at least one of the 5.25 drive bays is out of action and will need modding.

Check the sig below for my Arc Midi with water.

Thanks I will take a look!

Update:

I came up with this.

Yummy, you have the same look that I want. I like the look of EK stuff will make a build you can let me know if you like it! :)

YOUR BASKET
1 x EK-CoolStream RAD XTX (240) £64.99
1 x EK-Supremacy - CPU Waterblock - Nickel Acetal £56.99
1 x Laing 10W DDC-Pump 12V DDC-1T £54.98
1 x EK-DDC X-RES 100 CSQ - Acetal £35.99
1 x Corsair SP120 Quiet Series High Pressure Low Noise - Dual Pack £25.99
1 x XSPC HighFlex Hose 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD, 19/12.7mm, 2m, Clear £6.98
1 x EK-EKoolants Clear £5.60
1 x Mayhems Fine Silver Kill Coil £4.50
6 x EK PSC Compression Fitting 13mm 3/8" - G1/4 - Nickel £3.98 (£23.88)
Total : £291.94 (includes shipping : £10.00).

I think that is all I would need, though I am unsure. :D Either the Corsair AF120 or Enermax white LED fans for me.

In future can add an EK waterblock and another 240 rad for the GPU. Currently my VGA cooler keeps the card at 42c.

Yeah I would like to keep it under £200 but I'm unsure of what is good with watercooling to be honest. I hope the pump is a quiet and long lasting one. As for rad XSPC would be fine, I just like the look of the EK block but can change it no prob. I'll see how much an XSPC kit is.
