hello is there anyone who could spec me a watercooling kit for current setup? would like cpu gpu to cooled, i would need everything you could think of from water to blocks.
many thanks
To cool an i7 [email protected] plus a 5850, if all you do is play games on it and you don't mind turning the fans up then I'd say you would need a 240 rad at minimum, some 1800+ rpm fans and a fan controller (to turn it down when your not stressing the system)
Problem with the 902 is that the only place to mount a 240 radiator internally would be in the front drive bays, and you would pretty much lose 6 bays for a 240 rad + fittings.
If you do this then you could also have a 120 radiator in the back fan position giving you even more cooling power, or quieter cooling depending on your needs.
If you need the drive space, it may not be as elegant, but mounting the radiator externally on the back fan holes using a bracket might be the most effective way of cooling your kit but then you could reverse the design and put a 120 in the front and lose three bays only.
Think about what would suit you best, and think hard about whether you might be willing to sell your case for one thats more amenable to water cooling such as the Coolermaster CM-690 II
It really is benificial to read up on watercooling rather than just ask for a spec, not only will it help you make more informed decisions but will give you a decent base knowledge with which to build your loop.
Why do you want to watercool? Reducing noise, increasing overclock, aesthetic? Once you have figured this much out you can then start to put together a spec list of your own and come back to us.
Here's how i got started http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=17092944&postcount=59
My loop came in at £373, linked in sig if your interested in what you can get for that sort of money
