Hey all,

I'm considering getting water-cooling for my PC, just this is my first time at water-cooling and I don't really know what I'm looking for.

Here is what I have so far:

Just wondering what I should add, remove, change, etc. Money isn't really an issue. I'm going to put all this in a Silverstone TJ07B.

Note: I'm going to get a graphics waterblock, I'm ordering at christmas, any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
- Saul.

I wouldn't get a GTZ as it looks to still be made of Aluminium not Delrin or copper so you're betting on Swiftech having improved its appalling quality control.

If money isn't an issue, get a Fuzion V2, a DDC2-Ultra with the XSPC reservoir top, Thermochill PA120.3, Masterkleer 7/16" tubing.

Thanks mate, will take a look. Just a few questions:
I presume that that is the best stuff I can get?
Can't find the DDC2-Ultra on OC or competitor sites, any ideas (is this it: Alphacool Laing DDC-Pump 12V Ultra Water Tank)?
Have you any ideas on what coolant to use, will Feser One be OK?
Any ideas on VGA blocks?

Thanks again,
- Saul

Looks good to me. I cant comment much on the pump, I've not been paying to much attention to them for some time, but the other parts all look good. The tubing may be difficult to fit as its 1/16 of an inch smaller than the barbs you'll be fitting to, but it should work.

7/16" goes over 1/2" barbs. A little hot water dunking to soften the tubing and it goes on easily (I like to use a little KY  to make it easier) and then the only way to get it off is to cut it!

Why two different types of Radiator? Just get Thermochill rads for top and bottom although as it's a single loop, I don't think you actually need two rads.

With a quad and two gpus, I suppose a rad after the cpu and another after the gpus will get nice temps and for a loop with all that in it, the D5 is probably a good bet.

The Dtek gpu blocks are said to be good.

Don't like LED fans, get Yate Loons.

I would avoid the D-Tek VGA block as its about to be replaced by a new model, only time I would recommend one of these now is if you have got one already and are going the SLI route.

Current king of the non full cover block crowd is the EK Supreme VGA block. :)

Full cover blocks are normally a much better bet, depends what card you are running though.

The fans seem OK (28dB @ 77CFM), and they are coloured (want to make the case pretty). I was going to have the loop going like:
Pump -> Bottom Radiator -> GPU -> Top Radiator -> CPU -> Resevoir

The top radiator is dual slot, so it will easily fit in the exhaust slot at the top of the case.

@Yewen: I've got an XFX 8800GT, any ideas on what GPU block to get? This is an EK 8800GT block: EK 8800GT/GTS (G92) Full Cover VGA Water Block.

Also, will I need barb clips? If so, what size? 1/2" or 3/8"?

Thanks for all the advice,
- Saul.
