Hello all.

I am going to Watercool my CPU using the H115i I am just wondering which is the best way to put the fans should they be blowing against the radiator or away from the radiator?

I am also going to watercool my GPU using another corsair cooler but my H115i will be plugged into the CPU FAN slot on the motherboard can I use any other slot?

Thank you in advance

I'd have the fans exhausting out of the case, so the fans would be blowing against the radiator.
I assume you'll be mounting the radiator at the top of your case?

That's my plan to mount them on the top thank you for help

Any idea on the second cooler I want you put in where can I plug it in? I have spare fan headers but instructions tell me to plug the pump into the CPU FAN slot

I think with a GPU you would connect the pump to the fan header on the pcb of GPU. I know with my EVGA hybrid there is a pass through cable so that the pump and the blower fan in shroud are both powered via the on board fan header. You can then plug the rad fan in to a motherboard fan header to control it.

From my own testing and if you want hassle free maintenance I'd mount the fans in a pull position, This is only at most maybe 1-2'c worse than push but is so much easier to clean as all the dust will get trapped on the underside of the radiator which you just brush and vacuum off literally taking less than 1 minute.

You could also consider installing fan filters on all fans acting as intake. This will reduce the amount of dust inside your system. Fan filters will need regular cleaning and will limit airflow by up to 20%.

I have mine on the top of my case, something like this:

Mine isn't as gorgeous or as expensive as the Corsair product image though hahaha
