The other week i bought a sapphire x1950pro agp and naturally wanted to hook it up to my watercooling rig. I'd read that people were having a lot of trouble with the vrms overheating once the stock cooler was removed and some still when it was on. 2thumbs showed me a pic from the sapphire forum showing modded zalman heatsinks on the tiny vrms so i had a crack.

Firstly i bought two packs of zalman aluminium ramsinks, one pack for the ram on the card and the other to cut up with a hacksaw, aluminium is really easy to saw through. I cut the heatsinks in half then in half again and used the thermal tape to stick them to the vrms and its working perfectly, no crashes yet.

Apologies for the phone pics....

This really is an easy but essential mod to anyone who wants to watercool this card, mine is working perfectly and i didnt even think i did it that well. :D
