Ok so i'm after getting a watercooling system but i want it to be mounted within the case (also looking for a new case so suggestions for that welcome too)

As with a lot of people on this board i don't really know much about WC kits or what i'd need to set up a custom one. So my kits in my sig all help appreciated

and thanks in advance =)

Well, you have several options. You can buy a case and the components separately and do the install yourself, you can buy them from a specialist builder and have them assemble them for you, or you can buy a complete built unit - google "ready2go" or "ready to go".

There is an AquaComputer system using their 360XT radiator and the Lian Li G70 case or there is a really nice Alphacool system using the Coolermaster Stacker and either a 360 radiator and fans or a completely silent passive cooler with no fans.

Personally, I'd find a good water-cooling specialist with their own specialist forums and get them to put something together for you. That way you can pick the best components and get a professional build too.

Best bet imo if your stepping into it is to buy a case with WC already installed...

With most of the kits you never know if you will have enough space inside your current case or not... and even the all in one kits require more setting up than the description says.

Depends entirely on how much you trust yourself to put it all together. I joined this forum a few weeks ago intending to get some advice for my first watercooled system, not really knowing anything about it at all. Just hanging about reading other threads has made me confident enough and (I hope) knowledgeable enough to have a go at building and installing my own loop from parts.

I found the gallery a great help as you can see what setups others have and how they fit in the different cases.

Building yourself is great fun and a great learning experience. Just make sure you research everything fully, loads of people around here will give you any advice you could want.
Personally, fitting a waterblock and plumbing it in to a water loop is a damn site less effort than fitting those intel stock coolers  (cut myself earlier doing it, I'm still bitter)

Too right! I've been looking into water cooling for the last 2 weeks and I can't believe how much I've learnt about it. I'd go custom and just do plenty of research. I've got mine all planned out on paper so every last detail has been covered. That way it'll help when building it. Like others have said, the gallery does help a lot.

Good luck,

RoEy

I couldn't agree more with RoEy and Crashgate3. The knowledge and experience available from all the helpful peeps on this forum is invaluable. If you make use of it you'll end up with a better system. :)

I'd Have to say do it yourself, do the research get all the right bits and build the system yourself. It is a very safe thing if done correctly. It's simple and relatively painless. I'd also say avoid cases with WCing already built in, I've never really heard anyone say enough good about them to justify them compared to a similar price custom build.
Case wise I'd say a lian-li V2000 or V2100, or a silverstone TJ09/07. If you don't want to spend that much then you can kinda build into a Antec P182 but it is a squeeze.
There's plenty of people here who have built lots of WCing rigs and are always here to help as lets be honest it's not like we do anything else. (I have a life honest I do).

My only point would be don't get a already built in WC case. If you're not comfortable DIYing it completely there are some ok kits about but you're always better off at the end of the day doing a custom build. Also there's a lot of satisfaction in finishing your own custom loops standing back and watching it go.
