Sup Y'all...

I've been using watercooling for a while and I'm about to rebuild using some Sandy Bridge stuff.

Basically I am going to be flushing the watercooling and just wanted some advice on it, mostly around powering the pump. Last time I did it I think I probably just removed the cpu and used the power switch on the case...I suspect there is a better way of doing this?

Thanks in advance for any input :)

Edit:

Apologies, just noticed I didn't complete the title properly :(

Evening.
I cleaned my loop out this last weekend and I just did the usual, ie unplug every power lead apart from the pump and the mobo supplies.
Jumped out the green and a black cable on the 24 pin connector and used the socket switch to pulse the pump.
