Captive was great. Possibly one reason for not playing DM was that it needed a 512mb RAM upgrade?

Does anyone else remember Hired Guns? Superb game and amazing music.

Lol @ 512mb :D

I presume you mean on the Amiga? The Atari ST (where I first played DM) had 512kb ram as standard. Captive was also excellent, although I got a bit lost sometimes!

Did anyone play Shining in the Darkness on the Mega-Drive. I know not as epic as some classics! But it was always fun spending hours on a new character only to be beaten everytime you entered the only dungeon by a green nose rejection!

EOTB 3 wasnt done by Westwood studios and wasnt all that great (it also wasnt released on the Amiga). EOTB2 was the best of the series by far.

The Ishar series was pretty good as well. Anyone remember Legends of Valour, it had a fully 3D engine, but ran like a dog on all but the most upgraded of Amiga's. In many ways it was a precursor to the Elder Scrolls games (http://amigareviews.classicgaming.gamespy.com/legendva.htm). Crystal Dragon was one of the last games of that type released for the Amiga and was really rather decent too.

I really miss Lands of Lore : The Throne of Chaos. Such a damn good game. Was really long too, got really far on but never completed it. I played the futher incarnations of Lands of Lore 2 and Lands of Lore 3. But never got into them as i wanted to complete the first one before properly playing the rest.
