watermarks confusion?

I have a logo that i want to be used as a watermark on a quesitonnaire i am handing out to local industrial units.

Can someone advise the best way to convert (if thats what you call it) my logo to a watermark. I was going to use just a greyscale water mark or would you recommend colour? The logo is basically a sandwich with some text, what do you think about colour or greyscale?

The applications i have access to are fireworks and office 2007 pro.
