First of all let me just let you all know I'm not a photography enthusiast, so when it comes to camera talk I'm a complete noob. I'm off to Mexico soon on holiday with the misses and we would like to get a digital camera to snap the memories. Were planning on going on a few water based trips (Xplor Tour, Xcaret) so we are after something quite robust and waterproof, but know little about them or anyone who has ever used on.
We don't want to spend a lot on one, because the photo's will just be used for storage on the PC and she will just upload them to social media. The only one I've seen in the flesh is a Fujifilm XP60 and this seems to be on offer for £99 (in yellow only) on the massive online based retailer.
Does anyone have any recommendations or advise regarding these sorts of cameras?
