Wasn't sure where to stick this, so like everything else I just thought I'd chuck it in the mess that is GD :D. Ah cheers whoever it was for moving to S.C.

As title really... I'm after a fully salt water submersible MP3 player and earphones. I've found a few different models but have been wondering what peoples experiences of them are. I'm looking for 1gb or larger really. Any reccomendations?

Rubber grommet and polyfilla mate.

Or, i suppose i could engineer a semi-permeable hydrostatic membrane to wrap around it for him?

Basically, no. You can't have something need a connector on, and still keep it waterproof. Splashproof maybe.

i dont know if there is a waterproof mp3player but i remember seeing a case for the ipod which is waterproof, it was created for use whilst scuba-diving or something.i dont have the link though, try googling for it?
sorry for not being much help.

My god, I KNOW FOR A FACT that they exist - I'm not questioning that. I'm merely asking about what people have had experience with, they DO exist and as jesta says some can even be taken down really deep.

Waterproof headphones would be pretty stupid.. you'd have to empty them before you use them if they get wet and they wouldn't work under water.

I'd just get one of those animal surfbags(the ones with the wide velcro which folds over a few times to be water resistand and just stick the headphones through that.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!! I've found ones that REALLY WORK. How much more can I stress this!? The point in question is not whether they are possible/exist, rather what experience have people had with them.

Once again, just to be sure...... THEY DO EXIST

Surfing/swimming etc. It's just I plan to move to the coast in the summer and I fancy some music while on the beach etc etc.

An Ipod shuffle + a lilipod would do the job tbh.

Edit : Actually an otterbox would probably be a better choice.
