so my pc was long overdue for an upgrade, I decided to splash out and got me a spangly new am3 board, phenom 2, new ram, gpu, psu, the lot. It arrives quickly, I gut my old pc and then I realise. The waterblock won't fit.
I thought it would because it's got lots of different spacings for multiple sockets but this thing is so old, am2 wasn't even about.
Now I've been looking and had no luck so far. Has anyone ever heard of an adapter that will allow me to clamp a socket A waterblock onto an am2/3 board?

Or should I just suck it up and buy a new block?

Buy a new block! Chances are it will out perform your old block anyway as waterblocks have come a long way in the last few years since skt A.
