Should i get windows vista 64 bit or 32 bit for this spec? What is the difference between 32 and 64 bit versions? (sorry i am bad in Os :( )

This is my new laptop spec

2.0 Ghz intel core 2 duo (4mb cache)
4 Gb drr2 667mhz
Nvidia 8600 gt Dx10
1 Gb turbo cache
 
Then how the hell does the system manufacture say it has a 4gb ram with 34 bit windows vista home?

And thats the only difference between those ?

Go for x64
Your CPU is x64 capable
You have 4GB ram which will all be used, 32bit =(Guess!) about 3.3GB ram out of the 4GB being used(Not like you would really notice IMO)
Since your 8600GT has turbo cache I think it will use some of the system ram as video memory so your need all the available ram you can get:p
 
it make sme laugh that anyone would buy 32 bit vista as its memory hungry and has a limit of under 4gb
 
i think so .. im not really sure if it is oem or retail

So does vista use about 1Gb ram?
And the G-card using 756 ram? (since its 256gdrr2+756 turbo cache)

I will be left with something aprox to 2.3 ram?

Waths the difference between retail and oem? Well all i know is that u dont get any tech support from microsoft... is that only it?
