How do you guys calculate wattage of a PC my spec is rated at about 580w max load but i mainly just spend my time watching shows on the internet so i doubt its anywhere near that

are there any apps to calculate real time wattage usage?

You won't get an accurate result unless your PSU is "intelligent/digital" or you have an in-line meter between the psu power cable and the wall socket.

Using the plug in power monitor is the easiest way.

Your computer would probably be less than 100W when watching videos when using somewhat modern components.

When looking at wattage calculators most give recommended psu wattage and not power consumed.

THey use nothing watching TV and stuff m8, like 100-150 watts or so for the tower. The 580w rating you got will be everything running at max TDP at full load. If i running eveything maxed out i get peaks of about 750w but at stock speeds im more like 600w and about 80-120w at idle. If i remember correctly anyway, havent used my watt tester thing for a while.
