Having just replaced my old media center, which was a P4 2.6HT, GF6600, 1GB, 2 X Leadtek DTV cards. This used about 120W when just sitting there. (I have a plug monitor thing)

I replaced it with a C2D, GF7300GS, 1GB DDR2, Nova-T 500 Dual TV card. This now using about 95W when idle, this was a big suprise as I thought it would be a little more, what with the 2 cores etc.

Anyway, Im getting random freezes - no errors, prime and memtest are ok. Just total freezes which can be 30 seconds after booting, or 3 hrs. But it's happening a lot.

The PSU is an old 350W Antec one (its all in an Aria SFF box) So am I correct, even if the system is really low power, and the wattage looks fine, the PSU isn't good enough for C2D, as in the lines??

I can try a new PSU, but it's a lot of sodding about, so I'll ask here first before I take my other PC to bits.

Cheers
