Guys,

I have a question (as I am a complete noob when it comes to water cooling)

I got a kit which i was due to connect to the fusion block on the striker I extreme but since swapped it for the rampage as the striker II is unstable.

So I currently got compression G1/4 connectors and tubing 8x10 is it worth me upgrading this to 1/2" tube as I wil only be coling the cpu with my triple fan radiator?

Also how would i do it can you get different size connectors to change from the G1/4 connectors i have now? Is there such thing as a connector with the same G1/4 thread but increasing the tube size ? or is this going to be limited by the pump as it is originally for a 8x10 tube.

And in terms of cpu water blocks for 775 socket is there a good one that has the bracket attached to the block so that you simply drop the block over the socket and tighten bolts rather than the stupip AlphaCool NexXxoS which i have hassle installing and lining up the block with the central screw etc making a mess with the thermal paste.

Your help guys is appreciated and if you could give me links to the parts needed and explanation on how to do it would also be welcome ;)

yes thats what i meant fit the threads through the motherboard holes and then install board and then you can simply sit the block on the chip and tighten the 4 corner bolts. As the one i have now is a pain as you have to hold the block whilst fixing the bracket to then line up the centre of the block with a centre screw to keep it in place.

Right pain in the A***

I already have the 8x10 tubing so I may as well use that really ???
