WAV to FLAC

Any suggestions for a program to batch convert 1300 WAV files to FLAC?

I've seen dbpoweramp been mentioned. Is this the best?

I take it flac is flac? I don't need to worry about up-to-date encoders or owt?

If you have a CPU that supports AVX instructions, the latest version of flac is stupidly faster than older versions that don't have it.

dbpoweramp is awesome. You can batch convert within the first month then batch convert is a paid only upgrade.

1300 is actually very few files and no competently made software should have any problem using a queue and processing as many files as you have cpu threads at once.
