Hello all.

I, Aaron Cunnington, have a very noisy Coolermaster Wavemaster, and have many a time thought about replacing it with a case using 120mm fans, CNPS9500 CPU cooler, VF700 GPU cooler, the werks, if you know what I mean.

I was just taking a good look over at the Coolermaster website, and was surprised to find that my motherboard tray is flippable, similar to the Lian-Li V1000 case, which I absolutely adore (wish I chose that one instead).

So sure, I had a go. Took all the cables out of the mobo, and left myself with the mobo tray in my hand with mobo attached. I flipped it upside down and realised the most incredible flaw in design... There is no motherboard tray rail on the opposite side, and the PC speaker seems to be blocking the way too.

Are Coolermaster having a laugh, or am I being dappy?

But then at least the graphics card heatsink would be the right way up, and if I bought an aftermarket GPU HSF (possibly the Zalman VF-700, which I recently cancelled because it'd be bad airflow on the bottom), the hot air that rises could be sucked out by the dual fan PSU.

Granted, the top part of the case would be a bit hotter, but the CPU would be a bit cooler. Maybe a couple of degrees, but I like to be different.

I'll have a go at flipping it round again when I re-cable my whole case during the installation of my new Zalman CNPS9500-Cu LED from this here website! :D
