Well, im in need of a case.

1stly, which case should I get. Im liking the wavemaster and the pc7+ but the lian li looks a tad boring compared to the coolermaster. They look very well built, and are aluminium. Im wondering what are the cons and pros of each one. Also, if there is another case, that I could choose recommend that aswell.

2ndly, im not sure what colour to choose, silver or black?

3rdly, i'd like the case to be quiet and easy to work with. It also needs to be of very good quality as im going to have it for a loong time. A window would be nice and the cooling needs to be very good.

Finally, its got to be less than £100 including like extras and that (fans or windows)

Cheers and sorry for this long post :D

the wavesmaster only problem, is its airflow, it will run any single carded system fine but sli wont be a good idea unless you drill the holes at the front (hidden) by the pillar, when drilled you wont eb able to see it as the pillar blocks it

mate your getting shot of a 201 for a wave master - they are the same chasis aside from a door on the wave master, the same 80mm fans except the wave master has poorer front intake than the 201. also if you go for the wave master you loose the top blow hole if you want USB, the 201 you have usb on the front and still have the blowhole.

Basically if your set on getting shot of the 201 then the PC 7+ is the way to go - 120mm front and rear fans - no removable mobo tray though it's a decent sized case so not a big issue.

Personally i like sliver, but think about your existing drives if your re-using them.

Edit the PC7+ is the one that will come in under the £100 mark (£56 for case, £22 for window + delivery), but you'll have to volt mod your fans for quietness as getting ambers will take you over your budget

I have a wavemaster and the normal fans are good enough to run a x1800xt and a opteron @ 1.6V's cool enough but I'm modding it as I may run more things in the future.

To get the coolermaster to perform like a top air cooling case you'd have to make the hidden holes in front of the front bezel thing bigger, easy todo.

Replace the front two fans as they sound like a hoover.

The motherboard tray has a stupid design, it easily fits two fans on the back for some bizarre reason coolermaster decided to fit one on there, get a holesaw cut another one for yourself and easily stick two on the back.

You can cut a hole in the bottom and stick a 120MM fan coming in, that should making cooler great on this case, some say make the top a bigger hole but I wouldnt bother personally as all the changes I mentioned are hidden ones and make the case look unmodded.

Or just buy a PC7 and do no mods, but the front is a bit plain but the inside is top notch.

Dont know what you mean, do you mean at the bottom there is no space to get air? it's elevated about 1cm by the feet of the case, it will suck air in easily.

ah ok, i dnno what to get really as i dont have a hole saw
You can get them from the bay fairly cheap, doesnt have to be the exact same time, could use a smaller one and just go around the edges.
PC7 isnt a bad case far from it, i've been told they look better in the flesh.

PC 7's do look good in the flesh - the photograph on the site is a bit naff.

I used have a P-60 and that was the dogs nads for a case with 80mm fans at the time.

I'm on the hunt for a case to replace my Thermaltake Hoover (TM) with its Thermaltake Hairdryer (TM) fans ....

Its terrible state of play for me personally, nothing seems to fit my needs quite right :(

I reckon the V1000 is an amazing case, shame its soo goddamn expensive and I dont really need it I have a wavemaster, I wish someone had pity on me and would swap + cash lol.
