hiya all,

Just thought I'd let you guys know I'd decided to take advantage of some of my idle CPU power for the F@H Cause... To that end I have a number of systems folding to various degree's :)...

3800+ X2 - probably be two of them soon.
3500+ Venice
1400 Duron - My Linux fileserver.. it all counts right?
2500+ Daughters PC I hijacked for the cause :P.

Hope to be stomping my way up the charts soon :).
 
Think everything's ticking over nicely.. be nice to be able to monitor the Linux box's progress but can't persuade it to run off a different directory.. Linux box has a specific folder from which it's networked files are shared.

well.... relatively speaking anyway :p

you should still be well up in the Top20 producers, depending on how long those beasts are running each day and what else they are doing at the time of course

From having my 1800XP hooked up, i'd suggest that you get the Duron on Tinkers (ie deadlineless work units) as it seems the fastest for the wee mites like that.
Also it is quite reliable points as they tend to be "tinkers" (239 points) rather than these 56 point gromacs that are doing the rounds.

You may have already have done this so i apologise in advanceo's
 
Actually the Duron is causing me a headache at the moment :(

the Core doesn't seem to want to fire up :(

The 2500+ is on a tinker though - but purely by mistake - had noticed it was a better scoring unit but didn't realise why I'd got tinker on that and gromacs on the others..

Added the second 3800+ now so got :-

2500+ (on timeless only)
3800+ X2 - twice
Venice 3500+

Just need to figure out the Linux box now.
