Way round for a PSU

Hi guys

Quick question does it matter which way the fan is on the psu, up or down? I have the evolve x case.

As I had some custom cables made and they would need quite a lot of bending to fit in the psu with the fan pointing down.

Hope his makes sense.

Think the design of the Evolv X means it has to point down. If you had it pointing up, it'd be right against the segmented chamber thing* meaning it'll get no airflow.

In zero RPM mode PSU would stay cooler with fan side facing up allowing heat to rise from it.
Once fan starts running it really doesn't matter, for as long as fan gets air.

Probably best to mount it downwards. There doesn't look to be much clearance or any vents between on the shroud
