Hi,
I have Windows 7 and a Razor DeathAdder 2013 and i keep accidentally waking my pc from sleep by moving it.

I have tried disabling this in the mouse settings, hardware, properties, power management.
The box for "Allow this device to wake the computer" is not checked, yet whenever the mouse moves the pc wakes up.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Loucas

Hi, thanks for the help. I have had a look in the bios and all i can find are options to enable or disable Legacy USB Support. And something called SB USB Configuration. I cant find anything about the mouse or sleep mode specifically.

so this is what i see:

USB Configuration
USB Devices:
4 Keyboards, 2 Mics, 4 Hubs

Legacy USB Support: Enabled/Disabled/Auto
Legacy USB3.0 Support: Enabled/Disabled
ECHI Hand-off: Enabled/Disabled

SB USB Configuration:
All USB Devices: Enabled/Disabled
EHCI Controller 1: Enabled/Disabled
EHCI Controller 2: Enabled/Disabled

Thanks,
Loucas

in device manager/mice and other pointing devices. right-click the mouse you want the changes to adjust. select properties, then in the power management tab. untick allow this device to wake the computer

Legacy Bios = Power Management Setup => Power on by Mouse.

UEFI BIOS (varies) = Advance => APM => Power on by PME Devices.

Nice one. Thanks for the help guys. In the end i found out that i didn't need to go into the bios.
I just went into device manager and unchecked the "Allow this device to wake the computer" box for every device that was in the mouse category and every device in the keyboard category. For some reason both my mouse and keyboard were in the mouse category and in the keyboard category.

Thanks for the advice.
