Hi all,

I am looking to get in to still and white water kayaking,

However before I take the plunge and spend money, I want to see if I can pick up an ex club or cheap/free Kayak to have a go in.

I know there are two types, sin on or sit in, which would be best ?

I am posting wanted and looking on for sale on gumtree, and trying to find if there are any clubs getting rid of ex club kayaks, or seeing if people just want rid, for a bargain.

If I get in to it id be looking to spend a little more on one.

Anyone know any decent facebook groups for this kind of stuff?

There is some clubs not far from me in Monmouth and Wye Valley area, I did some Kayaking when I was in school but

I obviously wouldnt go white water after buying a kayak

More still water, get a life jacket and practise paddle, capsize recovery etc, then work my way up to white water

This came up for £25 today, it would only be used in stillwater as a very beginner, is it worth a punt?
