I've recently found my old N64 and gamecube and a box of games, the problem is that I've got no TV to plug it into. I was hoping there would be an easy way to connect them together, I thought about a cheapy TV card to connect the n64 as it just uses an ariel to connect, but the game cube uses 3-pin scart (or whatever it's called).

Any advice would be excellent thanks

I believe the N64 cable should work on the GC if you still want to go down the TV card route.

I've got a GC hooked up via a TV card at the mo, picture is not fantastic but using Dscaler you can get a fairly good image (especially for windowed gaming). If you want a good full screen image though invest in a decent RGB Scart to VGA convertor.

How much is an RGB Scart to VGA Converter go for? I had a look around but couldnt see any Scart to VGA converters

I've got one of these http://www.js-technology.com/product_info.php?products_id=33, not cheap but produces a fantastic picture.

Although I never got it with the intention of running consoles through it, main use is for feeding Sky/Freeview into my Plasma.

The GC actually has an official VGA cable and can even output in digital, however they are rarer than rockinghorse poo as Ninty in there wisdom only released them in Japan.

I've been trying to track one down for aaaaages to no avail :(
