hey, ive got a little overclockin project planned over the next couple of months and wanna know what would be the best rad to get??

been look at at the 120.x rads, but also some heatercores/rad's from cars.

which would you guys go for, or any other alternatives???

want to connect up cpu, gpu and NB in the loop (DFI NF2 Infinity, 2500-m/2600-m, 9800XT)

cheers

would there be much difference between that and the 120.3??

also any thoughs on any of the black ice extreme range??

I'd say either the thermochill or black ice gt stealth! Thermochill is a little better, but god it's huge!

obviuously the 120.3 is larger, therefore has more cooling capacity, but this thing is a monster, and you would be hard pushed to mount internally in a case, unless you are using an Antec P180 or alike with the PSU in the bottom.

im tryin to source a Chenbro SR102 or 103. their huge dual compartment server cases. the watercooling will fit in one side nicely, so the 120.3 should fit ok :)

Thats not a massive heat load, I'd probably go cheap and cheerful with a swiftech 120.2 from here. I'm using one with my Opty 144 and X1800XT and get great temps, so it would fine on that system.

Black ice PRO is the equivelent of the PA series of thermochill, where as the black ice EXTREME can eb compared to the HE

(the PRO is thinner)

HE and extreme both require higher CFM fans to gain THE BEST out of them, but many people have foound the fdifference to be only 1C usign the same fans.

black ice and thermochill are about as good as it gets.

theres not a lot of reviews for rads ut there ( if any ) so your best bet is to look around other forums at posts to find info
