WC Kits

the EK kits are very good. quality is excellent throughout and the box presents you with everything you need.
just take a look at the various threads about them in this forum and you can see what they look like when installed.

you dont need to do any modding with an 800d for any of the kits.

there is also a range of OcUK kits which are a little more expensive than the EK kits but include the best components that you can get.
 
With regards to the XSPC kits, I believe they are supposed to be very good, but my understanding is that the reservoir/pump combo is the weakest element but still reasonable.
I got one of the older kits (the one before the RASA) and the installation instructions weren't fantastic, but i think they were good enough.

If you can afford it I'd go with rjkoneill's suggestion and get one of the OcUK assembled kits.
But I guess it depends if you're like me, I'm happy with something for a little while, then start wondering if I should've bought the next model up. For me the OcUK kit would be best as there wouldn't really be much I could upgrade (except for getting a GPU block), so it'd work out cheaper.

Would they require me to mod my case tho?
 
Lol, as has been said already you don't need to do any mods to you case to acommodate the kit. The 800D is a very water cooling friendly case out of the box.
 
Still not ordered a water cooling kit yet but is it possible to spec the OcUK kit without fans or without fluid?

Yes I could buy the items separately but I wouldn't be saving £8 then :p

Suggestion could be having a drop down box (similar to custom system builds on ocuk) to allow choice of fans and or choice of coolant including colours?
 
we have that planned but it is a lot of work.
maybe it will show up in a couple of weeks

if you want to customize the products, then you can call our sales team who will amend the choices to what you want.
