WC'ing a X1900XT?

The stock fan is a bit noisy even with headphones (open) I can hear it, so any recommendations for watercooling kits for X1900XT? If I remove the videocard fan, how would the ATI video RAM and mosfets be cooled?

CPU water block would be useful also (939) Would a single 12cm radiator be suitable? (mount on the upper stacker exhaust, replace the stock Coolermaster low CFM/quiet fan with higher 70CFM Thermaltake fan

Northbridge and Southbridge are passive heatsinks but they don't need to WC them (don't get that hot)

I don't know about watercooling, but I would just get a Zalman VF900 and be done with it! Very quiet and great performance for £26.

p.s. I know what you did (to the X1900XT) last week

But the 900 won't expel hot air outside the case, ok I have pretty good cooling in the Stacker..I guess fit the Thermaltake fan on the bottom 12cm instead for more airflow (total noise with 900 on max plus the Thermeltake should still be lower?)

You've got plenty of fans there, just get the VF900. It doesn't generate that much heat.

I've got a x1900xt-x on water.

I use a 120.1 to cool just the card, I wouldn't recommend putting the gpu and cpu on a 120.1. I cool mine with a DD Maze 4 LP and OCZ ramsinks (the ramsinks required a bit of modding to fit under the low profile version of the maze 4).

Temps are much better than the stock cooler; around 30c idle and 39c load with the core at max voltage (1.575v).

I can echo that just mine is an XT with an aquaxtreme MP-1 and zalman ramsinks

It is big; the x1900s are almost the same length as the width of a motherboard.

I'm running the swiftech MCW55 on mine with the Nvidia fittings

i have sli 7800 gtx with maze 4 lp blocks 120.3 rad and it gets good temps

ive got 2 gtx and they get to 80oC at load now with watercooling they 30oC idle and dont get past 45oC load

Yes very easily especially in shader intesive games like oblivion & fear

I run my XT-X under water. See sig. Works really well. Maze 4 is the way to go. 120.1 would struggle cooling the X1900 and a CPU.
