WD Caviar Noise

Ive had my 500GB WD Caviar for a few months now (WD5000AAKS).
Its recently started making loud noises sometimes, but the rest of the time its quiet (as it should be). Im wondering if it has a fault, it still operates as normal though.

2nd point(not a biggy) is that it gets 5.8 in vista-32bit. Everywhere and everyone said it will get 5.9.

It might be getting a little loose in your case and therefore you're getting vibration?

I wouldn't worry about the 5.8 personally - it's just a guide and a .1 difference is so small to not worry about.
