WD faulty power supply/plug

Anyone else suffered with a faulty one? Emailed WD but it doesnt look like they will try and charge me for a new one.

The actual drive works fine, as iam using my dads power supply as he has the same drive. But I need to get a replacement

Is it one of those WD specific power sockets?
There should also be a standard SATA power or molex socket on the back of the drive also, can you use that?

Im pretty sure my drives have those also, but I bought them OEM so dint get the WD power adaptor -just used standard power cable from my PSU.
