BUILDING A NEW SYSTEM, wondering if u can a nswere a quick question?

Only using one sata and pata for back up- should the sata jumper be set to scc?

I'm going to ask a dumb question here but what is scc? Are you talking about cable select or something? If so you don't have to set any jumpers on most SATA drives as there is only one device per chain, if you are talking about SATAII connectivity then you might need to set a jumper on the back to enable SATAII but it will work fine as a SATA drive anyway.
