I'm running Server 2008 R2, when I try to PXE boot a computer it stops loading at \boot.SDI and just hangs. This is the error message in the WDS server log.

The only thing I can find on Google is this Microsoft article but there's no link to the hot fix :(

I've never seen that message before. There are some hotfixes where you have to fill in a form and they email it to you but nothing so open ended.

As far as I can see your best option is to contact them, then apply the fix and registry edit. #

Unless its possible to adjust your network hardware to allow for the larger TFTP block size?

I don't think I could change my network as it's either unmanaged or doesn't have that kind of depth of configuration.

I don't understand why you have to contact them, why isn't this fix available for download ? :(

Why not just contact them? They normally respond very quickly, quicker than waiting for an answer in here anyway
