I was a bit sceptical about these guys initially, and wrote them off as just another American label created band. I really liked their song 'It's a Hit' but the rest of their stuff didn't grab me the same way...

Then I saw them doing a few live performances on TV - most notably at T In The Park and then an interview where they succeeded in making Zane Lowe look like even more of a **** than he usually does (no mean feat).

Since then I've got the album, really like it and have paid a bit over the odds on the 'bay to get a ticket to see them in Nottingham in November :)

I can't wait as they seem to be a really organic band and improvise a fair bit live :D

Anyone else a fan?

Yup. Easy album to listen to - not exactly ground breaking but then again I don't always want that. I found them to be similar to Boy Kill Boy who I've liked for a while.

Think they'd put on a good live show.

Yup very big fan :D

Saw them at the NME Tour then again at their own gig at the Manchester Academy - fantastic :D (And at V too in 2 weeks!)

You'll really enjoy it.

Oh try and get War Mastered aswell, one of my favourites :)

Try and get 'surprised' and 'bomb inside the bomb' also.
I'm a massive fan, seen them 3 times already and got my tickets for their next uk tour : ).
They're incredible live, the banter is really amusing and they put on a great show.
Glad to see another fan :D

Saw them at Oxegen festival in Ireland a couple of weekends back.

I had heard the name bandied about here and there but not conciously actually heard any of their music, so I went along to the NME stage to check them out. I came away thinking I'd definitely have to get hold of their album for further listening.

I'll be seeing them in October. :)

From what I've heard about their live performances, it should be a great show :D.

It will be great trust me! I went to the NME Tour when they were playing alongside The Arctic Monkeys and Maximo Park (also Mystery Jet but lets not talk about them :p). They really put everything in to it and proper upstaged The Arctic Monkeys who were getting very "big" at that point (Maximo were headlining - also good).

War Mastered has never been realeased to my knowledge, think it was downloadable free from their site ages ago. Only see it from "illegal" sources now-a-days though.

I saw them at t in the park, was about 2 rows from the front in pretty much the centre. I actually almost died as a result :p the crushing in the crowd was insane. Didn't see the whole set because we couldn't take it anymore and went to catch a few bands in the futures tent instead. But yes from what we saw, they were fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing.

They were one of the best bands at One Big Weekend. The lead guitarist (don't know if there's a frontman) got hit flush on the forehead with a toilet roll, laughed it off completely rather than what some other 'stars' would have done.

They were superb! They were a bit mad backstage as well!
