We buy any car dot com

Ebay only so far, I think ill stick it in autotrader when the ebay add finishes, and if that fails Ill hang on to it. I do enjoy the car, Im just trying to save up for a new house so the money im spending on petrol and the payment would go a long way to speeding that up.

Autotrader will get you about a hundred times more publicity than ebay. Pistonhead classifieds is also a good shout - and as a bonus it's free. Both of these websites are worth exploring before you even think about WBAC.com or crap like that.

Ive never had a problem selling on autotrader.

I sold my 2000 Celica for £2900 privately with just an autotrader ad ( with a nasty scuff on the rear bumper and a small dent in the side panel).

Webuyanycar only valued it at £1400 online and thats without mentioning or them seeing the damage......

Out of interest what sort of price are you advertising the car?

I'm hopefully going to be purchasing about May as currently waiting on current insurance as they won't insure me on an ST so wouldn't be able to cancel. Plus having 5 years NCB really helps in getting the price down over 4 years.

Was hoping to get about 12500 for it or round abouts.

There are some factual errors but it's not far wrong in the basics - but, as with most things, your experience will vary wildly depending on which VP you end up dealing with, much like any service.

At the end of the day view it as plainly as this - if you take your car down to them, they will offer you some money for it. You can either accept it, or walk away. That's about it!

Dont totally rule out eBay either. I wasn't spending 30 quid on Autotrader when I could advertise classifieds on ebay for double the time at only 15 quid. I sold mine off there yesterday. I only listed it saturday night.
As a novice with cars myself, I ALWAYS look on ebay as well as Autotrader when I want to buy a car. I dont suppose I am unique there either...
