EVGA have entered the flagship Gaming Laptop sector with their hugely impressive SC17. I have one myself and was deeply impressed when I enabled SC mode the CPU was running between 3800-3900MHz in benchmarks and games. The GPU had a substantial overclock and even the memory was running at a sweet 3000MHz.
On a laptop this level of performance is mighty impressive and even though the chassis gets toasty after hours of benchmark looping the GPU remained under 75c and showed little to no throttling.
The overall build quality reminds me of the Razor laptop as well with no keyboard flex and what feels like a solid metal chassis. It is a great bit of kit and I can see it selling well especially with EVGA's UK RMA support team also handling after care along with OcUK.
