Posting here in the consoles forum but could apply to PC also!
So, I've been playing a bit of Metropolis Street Racer recently and totally forgot just how fun this game was on the Dreamcast. It's a racing game in it's own league. The car handling/physics, day/night cycle based in real time, the kudos system, and who can forget the radio station music and the adverts? Playing the game on an emulator with internal Res upscale and wide-screen patch looks great, although I do still like a real Dreamcast connected to a CRT.
Also been playing Project Gotham Racing 3 and 4 on the Xbox 360 (PGR 3 being the best imo but others probably disagree). Might have to pick up an original Xbox to play PGR 1 and 2 as backwards compatibility on the 360 isn't the best. PGR 2 is supposed to be a real blast.
Now Bizarre Creations aren't coming back, but it would be so great to have a PGR 5 at this time. I believe there is space in the market for the type of street racers MSR and PGR were, but fear they wouldn't be as good as the originals without Bizarre.
