We have sponsored Gfinity’s G3 e-sports event that will be taking place at Copperbox Arena on the 2nd – 3rd August 2014.


Some of the very best gaming teams from around the world are meeting up in London to compete at G3, and win the massive prize pot total of $145,000. Over all gaming platforms, competitive gaming is where it is at, covering Call of Duty: Ghosts, Counter Strike : Global Offensive, Starcraft2 and Fifa14.

Hosted by four established presenters who are all a massive part of the gaming and online scene, Sir Scoots; a legend when it comes eSports and the gaming scene, Julia Hardy who presented the BAFTA Games Awards and is a Tech and Video Games journalist for Sky News, Ali-A and KSI who both have a huge following on YouTube with millions of subscribers entertaining the entire world with their videos.

G3 is taking place at the Copperbox Arena in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, with a holds a capacity of 7000 attendees being the biggest multi-platform eSports event to ever take place in the UK. The competitive tournaments at event will be streamed online through popular website Twitch TV recently acquired by Google which will feature the streams on the homepage gaining huge exposure with a projected viewer count of over 8 million.

Gfinity will have some of the biggest names in the e-sports scene such OptiC Gaming, EnVyUs, FaZe, Dignitas, Fnatic, Titan, boasting some of the biggest talents in gaming.

G3 will be an unmissable event for gaming fanatics and enthusiasts. You can witness raw emotion, unbridled talent and an electric atmosphere of competitive gaming.

We are sponsoring the event, not the games! We don't choose what games are being played at the event, that is the event organisers at Gfinity!
 
To be fair, Counter Strike has always been big in my opinion. 1.6, Source and now GO. The only versions they were not, that didn't take off which was CZ, but still, that had a following but not on the scale as these 3.
