Weak points in build?

my rig as seen below

would you say there is any weak points in this rig?
Core i7 940 @ 2.9Ghz
ASUS Dexule "OC PALM"
12GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Nvidia GTX570
HP LP2475W
Win 7 64bit HP
WD Raptor - purchasing M4 Tonight (Crucial)
Samsung F3 1TB - Games
Caviar 640GB - Random Data
1000W PSU (Cosair)

a mate has said my CPU Clock is low would you say i need to increase it? (never oced but if its worth it i could try) Orignally it was at 3.6GHz from Overclockers themselves but failed i think due to ram.

If you don't think your pc is slow then you don't "need" an OC. But you might "want" one.

Cooling might be an issue, as its presently unknow to us. Otherwise give it a go.

It is quite a meaty machine even if it is starting to show its age.

Did the system come with 12GB of RAM or did you add an extra 6GB after purchasing? Adding more RAM can affect the overclock.

Weak point erm... loud clunky WD 640 drive?
What case have you got it in?

no weak points as such.

if you have the original retail cooler could replace it with a third party one to run cooler/quieter.

if the system is running fine don't worry about the overclock.

if you fancy having a play to see what it will do then feel free, plenty of people around to help you out, and will help you get a bit more out of the system.

Cooling CPU - Max 55c GPU 82c
Case 600T White Limted Edition blah

Overclock failed 2 weeks into buying it (2.5 years ago) added 12GB (3x4GB) yesterday

fair enough looks like a decent cooler so you should be fine, if your happy with the system running as it is at the moment leave it alone.

looks like a very nice system matey, and the crucial m4 your adding will only make it better.
