Weather conditions for a certain road

Hey,

The boss has just asked me to check how flooded a road is that he's planning to use tomorrow. Has anyone got any idea how I might go about this?

Maybe check on twitter?

there is an account for Wrexham (obviously no help to you, but I would imagine similar in other areas) which regularly tweet about flooding and traffic issues.

Try local weather sites and AA route planner as both of them should be relatively up-to-date

Take the company jet and fly over the road and look at it.

Failing that just drive there. Or use the BBC traffic service.

I think Google search should just be replaced with a link to OCUK GD.......

M5 junction 27 with A361 to Postmore Roundabout in Barnstaple.

I have tried Googling but couldn't find anything about weather conditions.

I'm with this guy, clearly he should be using the map features on the Ipoo. It'll clearly show the road is flooded as he'll be in the middle of a river or the sea

Local news sites are usually a good place.

A quick scan doesn't mention this road so possibly OK.

Or...http://www.bbc.co.uk/travelnews/devon but think you tried that one.
Never found The AA site reliable for this osrt of thing unless Motorway or major A Roads.

Looking to do that same but rather than a particular road I need to plan my route from Dundee to Newcastle...

AA route planner doesn't mention anything when I slap it in but would it? Anyone know a road that's flooded so I can plan a route through it and see what it says?

That road was fine when I traveled up from Exeter Yesterday morning and we haven't had much rain here (Combe Martin) since so can't see it being a problem
