Does such a thing exist at not so ridiculous prices?

I do a fair amount of highway work which, due to our wonderful british weather, results in me being out in the rain a fair bit. I need a laptop for a pile of reasons and it would benifit me if I could have one that I could use and not worry if it got a bit soggy so to speak. I did look at PDA options but failed to find software that I need (Electrical testing and certification) that would run the way I need it to so I've ruled out the PDA option.

I dont need anything mega powerful nor big, in fact smaller would be good (although i appreciate anything 'rugged' is often bigger)

Any ideas or advice?

Thanks

Mark

or you can buy similar cases for any laptop which would protect your laptop....

i believe a lot of warehouse staff use them to control / manage stock, point is cuz their hands are dirty or in case they drop it with the case on the lappy is protected..

They featured those laptops on the gadget show, put the toughbook against a crumpler case with a normal lappy inside, was a close call really. Have a look on their website, it is still up there.

That itronix one looks a bit better, think I could cope with a p3 again, think a p2 300 would see me testing its ruggedness with a large hammer :p
