Weatherproof spy camera?

Hi. I have someone regularly emptying the contents of their car ashtray in front of our gates. It is nasty, I think I know who is doing it but I want proof. This is only a one-off and so I do not want to spend a lot of money catching the culprit. I need to find a weatherproof camera recorder that is inexpensive and very small so that I can conceal it, it also needs to be motion sensitive and have night time vision, as the dumping takes place at night. I want the camera/recorder to be activated upon motion detection and switch off soon afterwards as well as being waterproof, as it needs to be outside by our front gates.

get a trailcam, they sell them all over here, but some huntin/fishing type store over there or amazon.

I set up a Raspi + webcam and special (free) distro designed to turn a Pi into a motion sensitive CCTV. Rubbish in the dark but great during the day.

There is a lot of free software out there for doing similar things on Windows if I remember, so it may be cheaper and easier to set a webcam up at home inside
