years ago i remember playing a game on a website but cant remember the name, so if anyone could help or know of something similar.

you gold income per hour. upgrade this amount per hour.

buy troops with gold. buy defenses and weapons etc. attack other players to steal their gold. combat was ie send 5000 troops to attack outcome was depending on other players defenses/troop count.

is this ringing any bells? i know there is a few games with the same layout.
 
Things have probably advanced since you played it 'years' ago. That or it doesn't exist due to the more advanced, better looking counterparts.
 
Its a different game but it is purely text based minus pictures for units/buildings.

But everything else is text, combat reports, no in game fight graphics etc.

ahhhhh i know exactly what game you're on about! Can't for the life of me remember what it's called >_< (purpley/black/blue theme to the website iirc? it was a dark theme either way)

Yeah I remember this game as well just can't remember the name of it.
